Technology can help assess risk for hereditary cancer
Hereditary cancer risk assessment is standard of care in obstetrics and gynecology (ob/gyn) practice. Chatbots can help assess who is at risk.
Implementing a workflow to screen patients for hereditary cancer can be challenging. We wanted to see if a chatbot could help support this workflow and accurately identify the right patients for testing.
What did we find?
More than 16,000 patients received chatbot invitations and 78% completed them.1
Patients demonstrated a high level of engagement and satisfaction with the risk assessment process.
We demonstrated that a chatbot can be successfully used in the clinical workflow for hereditary cancer risk assessment.
